Rails Rally Late to Nip Vipers
The Richland Rails converted a terrific effort from starter Ron Gunther into a win over the Vancouver Vipers at Rails Ballpark. The Rails won the game by a final score of 2-1. Richland reliever Martino Salazar snagged the win, upping his record to 5-5. Jason Johnson shouldered the loss. Richland bumps their record to 37-34 with the win.

Richland got a clutch hit from Joseph Edwards. The shortstop socked a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was game-ender.

"We put together a nice win," Edwards said.
