The Casper Ghosts and Yakima Hops fought to the finish at Hops Park.

Jorge Dorantes led the charge as the Casper Ghosts defeated the Yakima Hops, 6-4, in 10 innings at Hops Park. Dorantes went 3-4 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Don Walker got the save, the 16th for him this season.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Matt Banks? The 26-year old center fielder Banks stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put Casper up, 5-4. For the game, he was 2 for 5, including 1 double and 1 single.

"I don't lose sleep over a loss," said Banks. "But I have better dreams after a win."

The Ghosts improved their record to 31-41 with the win over Yakima.
