Pritchard Delivers 2-0 Win
In a low-scoring contest between the Gwinnett Guinea Pigs and the Squirrel Hill Pierogis, 23-year old right-handed pitcher Rod Pritchard proved to be the difference. The Gwinnett right-hander earned props for his performance in the 2-0 Guinea Pigs win. Taizo Fujita got the save, the 11th for him this season. Gwinnett, at 35-37, sits in 9th place in the Menard's AA.

Pritchard gave Gwinnett a solid start. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits over 8 innings.

"I'm not out here to win a beauty contest," said Pritchard. "Obviously."
