The Virginia Beach Whales trumped the Northville Eclipse, 7-3, at Old-Timers Park. Virginia Beach left fielder Jeff Huffman was terrific. He belted 2 home runs, while scoring 4 and driving in 2. Virginia Beach now sports a record of 28-44.

Virginia Beach used the clutch hitting of Grease Zerk to capture the win. The designated hitter drilled a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to give the Whales the lead, 4-2. For the game, Zerk had 1 single and 2 doubles in 5 at-bats.

"I was just going up there trying to see good pitches, that was about it," said Huffman.
