Nick Hensley, who leads the PL in wins with 9, never let the Thunder get in a groove. The left-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Patriots to a win, 4-1. Hensley got the win, improving to 9-4. He gave up 4 hits and walked 2 over 7.1 innings. He allowed 1 run. Yong-hyun Kim earned the save for Boston, his 22nd of the year.

Vincent Green had a big run-scoring double for the Patriots in the top of the fifth inning. With Boston leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he got a splitter from 30-year old right-handed pitcher Chih Hoong and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 11th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Patriots ahead, 2-0.

"Nick was really locked in," said Boston manager Brian Fahie.

Boston bumps their record to 44-33 with the win.
