|
Walliyullah Brown, who is tied for 5th in the 3AA in complete games with 2, never let the Rails get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Farmers to a win, 4-1. The win puts Lancaster at 25-48.
Lancaster took a 3-0 lead on Guillermo Rivera's 2nd home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Rivera hit in the top of the seventh, left Richland pitcher Richard Stevenson visibly frustrated.
"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Rivera, "one at-bat at a time."
