Fox Impresses as Blue Demons Knock Off Flamingos, 1-0

Mexico City beat Las Vegas on the strength of starting pitcher Brandon Fox's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 1-0. Mexico City, at 33-44, sits in 9th place in the Premier League.
Fox was the winner. He's now 4-8, after putting the Las Vegas offense in a vise grip. Over 8 innings, he gave up no runs on 4 hits, while racking up 7 Ks.
"Main thing is I want the team to win," Fox told a reporter after the game. "Just have to go out there, take care of my job, and give my team a chance to win."
