Seattle Slaps 4-1 Loss on Colorado
The Seattle Rocketeers beat the Colorado Billy Goats, 4-1, at Grazing Hills. The win was due in part to second baseman Dave Powell, who was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Getting the save was Bill Hayes, his 11th. By defeating Colorado, the 7th-place Rocketeers improved to 36-41.

Powell had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 1-0 fastball from Juan Cruz, he banged a 2-run home run to left-center, giving the Rocketeers a 3-1 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for Powell.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Powell said after the game.
