The Richland Rails claimed a close win over the Virginia Beach Whales, due in large part to Jaime Delegorsa. The Richland right-hander pitched a great game to secure the 2-0 win. With the win over Virginia Beach, the Rails improved to 38-37.

Richland got a lift in the bottom of the fourth from right fielder Matt Russell, who hit a changeup to right for a solo home run. His 9th home run of the season put the Rails up, 1-0.

"Thought I threw pretty well and overall I felt good," said Delegorsa.
