The Lancaster Farmers got a superb performance from pitcher Dave Jones, but the Squirrel Hill Pierogis still won the game, 4-3. Jones threw 7.0 innings allowing 4 runs. Squirrel Hill reliever Jorge Martínez got the win, raising his record to 2-1. Dave Jones was tagged with the loss. Cipriano Flores, who is rated as the 40th best prospect by BNN, nailed down the save.

Squirrel Hill went in front, 4-3, on Matt Flores's 3rd home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Flores hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Lancaster pitcher Dave Jones visibly perturbed.

"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Flores.

The win makes Squirrel Hill 38-41.
