Boosted by the 2-hit performance of Mark Jones the Pine Island Dolphins defeated the Minnesota Loons, 5-2. The Dolphins, at 42-38, sit in 5th place in the Menard's AA.
Jones made an early impact for Pine Island when he stroked his 4th double of the season. The 2-run double, which came in the bottom of the second, put the Dolphins on top, 3-0.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Jones.
