|
The Ottawa Fat Cats went down to defeat to Richard Stevenson and his Richland teammates. The final score was 5-2, in favor of the Rails. Stevenson, the winner, moves to 5-4. He threw 7.1 innings of 2-hit ball, while fanning 9 and giving up 3 walks. Mario Happ earned the save, his 14th in 15 tries.
Buddy MacNeill, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2059 draft, came through for Richland with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fifth. The catcher was a perfect 3 for 3 in the game, including 1 home run and 2 singles. He scored 1 run and collected 2 RBI.
