The Ft. Worth Cattlemen got a stellar performance from pitcher Chase Davis, who handcuffed the Baltimore offense en route to a win, 3-0, at The Cattle Pen. Jeff Forrest finished the game for Ft. Worth and earned his 13th save. With the victory, the Cattlemen record stands at 28-50.

Davis, who dominated for Ft. Worth, earned the victory to move to 6-4. He was in control the whole game, scattering 2 hits over 7.1 innings, while striking out 5. Baltimore batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.

"Chase -- his tempo and rhythm were good," said Cattlemen manager Scott Thompson. "He was the key to us winning."
