The Minnesota Loons banked on Billy Warren and he turned in a masterful performance. The left-hander kept the Northville hitters in check. The final score was 3-0, Loons. The Loons go to 53-34, putting them second in the Menard's AA.

Tied up with the Eclipse in the top of the fifth inning, the Loons got a boost from catcher Dennis Jones. With runners on 1st and 2nd, Jones saw a 1-2 slider from Claudio Núñez and hit a run-scoring single to break the stalemate and put Minnesota on top, 1-0.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Warren said after the game.
