Savage Goes to 6-6 in Rout of Dolphins
Pine Island had no answer for 23-year old left-handed pitcher Rudy Savage. The Providence Pilgrims starter stymied Dolphins hitters, helping the Pilgrims cruise to victory, 12-1. Providence, at 39-49, occupies 10th place in the Menard's AA.

Savage picked up the win. He's now 6-6, after putting the Pine Island offense in the deep freeze. Over 7 innings, he allowed no earned runs on 2 hits.

Pilgrims manager Arturo Rochel had nothing but praise for his players after an impressive win, calling the result one of the team's best performances of the season. "Everything just came together on our end," he said. "I didn't need to do too much."
