Guinea Pigs Earn Late 4-3 Win
The Gwinnett Guinea Pigs scored a tight, 4-3 win versus the Virginia Beach Whales at Experimental Stadium. Gwinnett pitcher Chin-seok Kim held his own in the contest. Gwinnett reliever Rod Pritchard picked up the win, raising his record to 7-1. José Lewis was tagged with the loss. Gwinnett, at 59-30, is 4½ games up in the Menard's AA.

The game-ending blow was delivered by Chris Tucker in the bottom of the ninth. That's when he hit a run-scoring double off 28-year old right-handed pitcher José Lewis to win it for Gwinnett and cause the home crowd to erupt in celebration.

"Chin-seok pitched like a son-of-a-gun," said Gwinnett manager Clarence Sloan.
