Minnesota starter Daniel Shields kept the Virginia Beach offense under clamps, while his team rolled to victory, 11-1. Shields, now 2-1, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 8, walking 1, and allowing 1 run. The Loons, at 55-34, sit in second place in the Menard's AA.
