The Casper Ghosts defeated the Ottawa Fat Cats, 7-5. Doing his part was left fielder Hunter Chase, who went 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Wesley Edwards claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.1 innings. His record stands at 3-3. Maxwell Powers earned the save, his 2nd, for the Ghosts.

Casper took a 6-5 lead on Jerome Miller's 21st double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Miller hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Ottawa pitcher Jimmy Jeffries visibly frustrated.

"This was a nice win for us," said Miller. "It's one more step toward our ultimate goal."

The first-place Ghosts have a one-game lead in their division.
