Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Yakima Hops and Northville Eclipse.

The Yakima Hops locked up a win at Old-Timers Park, knocking off the Northville Eclipse, 5-3. On the mound for Yakima was left-hander Gil Bowers. He played a major role in the triumph. Bowers picked up the win for Yakima, going 6.2 innings. He gave up 3 runs on 8 hits. He now sports a record of 2-2. Larry Moore nailed down his 8th save.
