Flamingos Rally Late to Nip Bullets
|
The Baltimore Bullets got a sterling performance from pitcher Cheol-han Cho, but the Las Vegas Flamingos still prevailed, 5-4. Cho threw 6.2 innings of 5-hit ball. Kun Ec, now 7-3, was credited with the win in 1 innings of relief. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits, while striking out 2 and walking 0. Las Vegas now owns a record of 38-41.
Richard Clift came through with a big-time hit for Las Vegas. The center fielder smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 5-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Clift said.
