Beyond the Wall was the site of a competitive game between the Detroit Elite and Buffalo White Walkers.
The Buffalo White Walkers dealt the Detroit Elite a 5-3 loss at Beyond the Wall. Marcos Iglecias was the star on offense. He went 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Buffalo pitcher Volmer Aalbers got the win, upping his record to 5-9. Dan Wells got the loss.
A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the sixth, with the game tied, Iverson Allen was at the plate when Buffalo scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the White Walkers to go in front, 3-2.
Allen called the win "a lesson in teamwork."
With the win, the White Walkers improved to 33-46.
