Boston Defeated By White Walkers, 4-3
|
The Buffalo White Walkers dealt the Boston Patriots a 4-3 loss at Dunkin Donuts Park. Olvido Doesburg, who is tied for 7th in the PL in doubles with 18, was the star on offense. He went 3-4 with 2 doubles. Buffalo pitcher Nathan May earned the win, hiking his record to 3-0. Iiri Lahti suffered the loss. The save went to Johnny Flannery, his 5th this season.
Pablo Olartecoechea, who is tied for 4th in the PL in triples with 4, had a direct impact on the outcome. Olartecoechea contributed a 2-run triple in the top of the first inning to put Buffalo up, 4-0.
"We'll take some time to unwind," said Olartecoechea, "and then get after it again."
The second-place White Walkers have won 5 straight.
