Starting pitcher Paul Clark gave the Pine Island Dolphins a rock-solid effort. The Fargo, North Dakota native helped his team defeat the Westwood Sixshooters, 3-0, at Goodyear Hanger Dome. Marcus Lucas, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 7th save. Pine Island sits in 6th place in the Menard's AA at 46-47.

In the bottom of the third, Pine Island designated hitter Renato González whacked a fastball to right-center for a run-scoring triple. His 1st triple of the season put the Dolphins in front, 1-0.

"We came out on top and that's all I can ask for," said Clark.
