Getting a good performance from left fielder John Johnston, the Lancaster Farmers defeated the Westwood Sixshooters, 11-8. Johnston was 2 for 3 with a home run and a double, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once for the Farmers. Lancaster pitcher Nicholas Reyes got the win, upping his record to 4-5. Joe Smith got the loss.

Johnston contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Lancaster in the bottom of the fifth. With his team trailing 3-2, Johnston took a fastball from Irving Bouman and stroked the home run to left. His 9th home run of the season allowed the Farmers to leap in front, 6-3.

"It was a solid team effort," said Johnston after the game.
