Pine Island right fielder Rob Fowler helped his team beat the Ottawa Fat Cats, 10-5. Fowler, who is tied for 10th in the 3AA in triples with 2, went 2 for 3 for the Dolphins. Eugene Barber picked up the win, lifting his record to 1-0 on the season. He struck out 7 and walked 3 in 7.1 innings, while yielding 5 runs. The Dolphins, at 59-36, sit in second place in the Menard's AA.

The Dolphins benefited from a costly error in the bottom of the second. With Jesús Longoria at bat and Pine Island leading 1-0, the Ottawa miscue allowed Pine Island to plate 1 and take the lead, 2-0.
