4-3 Loss Extends Westwood Skid
The Minnesota Loons picked up a win at Sixshooters Stadium, taking down the Westwood Sixshooters, 4-3. Starting pitcher Jeff Benson was a big reason why. Luis Tobías earned the save for Minnesota, his 31st. The slumping Sixshooters have dropped 6 in a row.

Minnesota used a clutch hit from Nick Jackson to get the win. The catcher drilled a solo home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Loons ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a doozy.

Jackson attributed the win to "a well-rounded effort by the whole team."
