The Virginia Beach Whales handed the Pine Island Dolphins a loss at Goodyear Hanger Dome. The final score was 3-2. Jeff Huffman was one of the major contributors for Virginia Beach. In addition to his 2 singles and 1 home run, he scored 2 runs and drove in 1. The Whales go to 36-61 with the win.
Virginia Beach took a 3-1 lead on Huffman's 13th home run of the season. The solo home run, which he hit off Brady Thomas in the top of the sixth, propelled Virginia Beach to the win.
"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Huffman said.
