Bennett got the win, improving to 2-0. He gave up 5 hits and walked 3 over 8 innings. He allowed no runs. Northern Virginia improves to 49-31 with the win. They lead their division by 3½ games.

Chris McNally had a direct impact on the outcome. McNally contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put Northern Virginia up, 3-0.
