Northville turned a good performance from starting pitcher Zhi Ling into a 4-1 triumph over the Casper Ghosts at Old-Timers Park. Robert Poynter picked up the save for Northville, his 2nd of the year. The Eclipse improved their record to 54-45 by beating Casper.
The Eclipse ran into trouble in the top of the second. The score was 1-0, Northville, with one out. Casper, with runners on 1st and 2nd, had Wayne Graham at the plate. With a base hit, he could have changed the complexion of the game. Instead, he struck out and the Eclipse went on to win.
