The Billings Polar Bears defeated the Squirrel Hill Pierogis, 6-2, in part because of center fielder Mike Thompson. Thompson was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Polar Bears. Billings has run its win streak to 4 straight.
