Spirited fans greeted the Northville Eclipse for their clash with the Pine Island Dolphins.

Pine Island Dolphins starter Paul Clark found his groove in his team's 5-1 win over the Northville Eclipse. Dallas Bullard, who is rated as the 98th best prospect by BNN, earned the save for Pine Island.

Gus Polinski had a big 2-run home run for the Dolphins in the top of the fifth inning. With Pine Island leading 2-1 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a splitter from 23-year old right-handed pitcher Jerry Armstrong and punished it. The result was his 11th home run of the season, which put the Dolphins on top, 4-1.

Pine Island manager Alfonso Dolton called it "a good, solid win."

Pine Island bumps their record to 49-51 with the win.
