Clemens Schlöndorff propelled his team to victory over the Asheville Highlanders. The final score was 4-2, Toledo. The 9th-place Saboteurs improved to 47-54.

Toledo used the hitting of Alfonso Marín to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Saboteurs on top, 4-0. For the game, Marín had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
