The Lake Murray MotorBoaters topped the Minnesota Loons, 3-2, in USSL Double A action at Loony Bin. The standout performance belonged to Lake Murray pitcher and Ethete, Wyoming, native Gustavo Martínez. Martínez, now 1-0, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 6, walking 1, and allowing 2 runs. Lake Murray, with the win, is 3-1.

Al Anderson came through with a big-time hit for Lake Murray. The second baseman smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 3-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
