Late Offense Lifts Billings to 5-3 Victory
The Billings Polar Bears topped the Gulf Coast Turbeaus, 5-3, at Mobile Home Park. Billings right fielder Yataro Murakami was a spark plug for the offense. He was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Iván Trevizo was credited with the save for Billings, his 3rd of the season. The Polar Bears, now 3-1, have been playing some good baseball.

Murakami had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a 2-2 cutter from António Valenzuela, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Polar Bears a 5-3 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Murakami.

"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Murakami.
