Chesapeake left fielder Patrick Ferris contributed significantly to his team's 5-1 win over the Billings Polar Bears. Ferris went 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Cangrejos Fantasmas. Chesapeake reliever Britt Peck picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Lou Hungerford took the loss. Billings falls to 1-3.

Chesapeake took control in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Carlomaria Destefani hit a run-scoring single to make it 2-1, Cangrejos Fantasmas.
