Asheville Claims 2-0 Victory
|
In a tight tilt between the Asheville Highlanders and the Billings Polar Bears, Vince Moran was the deciding factor. The Asheville right-hander spearheaded the 2-0 win. The win puts Asheville at 5-1.
John Weber had a critical at-bat with no one out in the bottom of the sixth for Asheville. He came through with a solo home run to put Asheville in front, 2-0.
"I didn't leave too many pitches out over the plate," said Moran.
