The Barton Springs Blues picked up a win at Blues Field, knocking off the Gulf Coast Turbeaus, 2-1, in 10 innings. On the mound for Barton Springs was right-hander Tony Icaza. He played a pivotal role in the triumph. Barton Springs is now 2-5.

The Blues got a clutch hit from center fielder Clifton Brooks. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Blues.

"Scoring was at a premium tonight," Brooks said.
