The Providence Pilgrims picked up a win at Field of Plenty, knocking off the Minnesota Loons, 4-2. Starting pitcher Tom Boswell played a key role in the triumph. Jason Herbert finished the game for Providence and earned his 3rd save. The loss drops Minnesota to 3-5.

Jesse Kelley, the 9th overall pick in the 2060 draft, took Minnesota hurler Ryan McDaniel deep in the bottom of the seventh. His 2-run home run put the Pilgrims on top, 4-2. In all, Kelley had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
