The Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks locked up a win at The Igloo, knocking off the Billings Polar Bears, 3-2. On the mound for Ft. Polk South was right-hander Albert Silver. He played a major role in the triumph. Manuel Liscano recorded the save, his 2nd. With the win, Ft. Polk South elevates its record to 3-6.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Juan Salazar? The Ft. Polk South designated hitter had a 2-run single in the top of the third inning to put the Thunder Hawks on top, 3-0. For the game, Salazar had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
