Flamingos Get Clonked by Bullets, 5-2
|
The Baltimore Bullets wanted a good start from Kenny Riley -- and he delivered one. The result was a 5-2 Baltimore win over the Las Vegas Flamingos at Baltimore Grounds. Riley, now 2-7, was the winner. In 8.2 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 8, walking 2, and allowing 2 runs. Armando Trujillo got the save, his 8th in 15 chances.
Sammy Baldwin, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2055 draft, came through for Baltimore with a solo home run in the bottom of the fourth. The left fielder was a perfect 3 for 3 in the game, including 1 home run and 2 singles. He scored 1 run and collected 1 run batted in.
"Feels good to get the job done," Baldwin said after the game.
The Bullets, at 40-41, sit in 6th place in the Premier League.
