Highlanders Grind Out 1-0 Win
Billings got a valiant performance from pitcher Robin MacVicar, but it wasn't enough to beat the Asheville Highlanders. Asheville won the game, 1-0. MacVicar threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. With the win, Asheville elevates its record to 7-3.

The Highlanders got a big hit from third baseman Tom Rich. Facing Billings pitcher Robin MacVicar in the top of the fifth, Rich pounded a solo home run to right. His 1st home run of the season put the Highlanders ahead, 1-0.

"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Billings manager Justin Broadfoot. "The effort was great."
