Gulf Coast Turbeaus starter Artie Jones pitched well against the Lake Murray MotorBoaters at Mobile Home Park, leading his team to a win, 6-2. Gulf Coast goes to 6-4.

Steve Bullard had a big run-scoring double for the Turbeaus in the bottom of the second inning. With Gulf Coast leading 2-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Bill Marshall, who is rated as the 27th best prospect by BNN, and swatted a double to left. It was his 3rd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Turbeaus ahead, 3-1.

"I'm happy we won," said Jones. "That's first and foremost. My goal is for the team to win the day I pitch, however it's done."
