Loons Suffer One-Run Loss at Chesapeake
|
Fans witnessed a whale of a game between the Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas and Minnesota Loons.
In the 5-4 Chesapeake win over Minnesota, the impact of Bob Peters was substantial. Peters, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2059 draft, was 3-4 with a double and 2 singles. At 7-3, the Cangrejos Fantasmas have played well so far.
Had Luis Ramírez not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Ramírez hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 5-4, in favor of the Cangrejos Fantasmas.
