The Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas picked up a win at Mobile Home Park, taking down the Gulf Coast Turbeaus, 3-2. Starting pitcher Frank Vetter was a big reason why. Michael Sawyer earned the save for Chesapeake, his 1st. With the win, Chesapeake improves its record to 9-2.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Walter White? The Chesapeake second baseman had a run-scoring double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Cangrejos Fantasmas on top, 3-1. For the game, White had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"I like our mindset right now," said Chesapeake manager Jorge Baca.
