García gets 5 RBI in St. Petersburg Win
The 10-7 St. Petersburg win over Squirrel Hill was due largely to Billy García. The Thunder shortstop was 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. Keith Greene closed it out for St. Petersburg, earning his 4th save. The victory makes St. Petersburg 7-7.

García contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for St. Petersburg in the top of the fourth. With his team trailing 3-2, García took a fastball from José Contreras and stroked the home run to left. His 4th home run of the season allowed the Thunder to leap in front, 5-3.

"It's nice to see a lot of guys make contributions," said Thunder manager Alejandro Mingo.
