Saboteurs Pull Off Thrilling 7-3 Win in Extras
Lake Murray got a decent performance from pitcher Paul Ramsey, but it wasn't enough to beat the Toledo Saboteurs. Toledo won the Heron Field contest, 7-3. Ramsey threw 8.0 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. Adam Smith was the winner in relief. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Alex Carr. The defeat makes Lake Murray 8-6.

With a runner on 1st and two out in the top of the seventh inning, pinch hitter Jorian Rebergen delivered big for the Saboteurs. Toledo was trailing 3-1 when he belted a 2-run home run.

"I don't feel you win baseball games by working harder than the other team or 'wanting it more,'" Rebergen told the Toledo Chronicle. "You win just by scoring more runs."
