Pitcher Yoshinaka Yamanoue was sensational for the Lake Murray MotorBoaters in his team's 5-0 triumph over the Barton Springs Blues. Yamanoue earned the win. Yamanoue got the win, improving to 1-0. He gave up 4 hits and walked 2 over 6.1 innings. He allowed no runs. Brandon Huffman closed the game out for Lake Murray, earning his 2nd save.
Jeffrey Ramírez, who is tied for 2nd in the SAA in extra base hits with 11, contributed to the Lake Murray win with a solo home run in the top of the fifth. For the game, the center fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 RBI.
"When you are able to locate the ball, good things are going to happen," said Yamanoue.
