Generals Slap 2-0 Loss on Niagara Falls
|
Washington used a superb performance from starting pitcher Benjamin Davidson to down the Niagara Falls Expos, 2-0. Davidson, now 1-0, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 2 hits, while striking out 7, walking 2, and allowing no runs. The win puts Washington at 2-1.
Making an impact for the home team was Kazuki Kodama. In the bottom of the sixth, the 21-year old shortstop had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. That made the score 2-0, Generals.
Kodama attributed the win to his team's "collective resolve."
