Another game, another loss for the struggling Tacoma Fur Traders.

Tacoma wasted a solid 7-inning effort from starting pitcher Mao-you Zhen, losing to Asheville, 1-0, at Ballpark of Tacoma. The win was credited to Dale Burney in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Bartold Aarts took the loss.

Asheville used a clutch hit from Carlos Hernández to snatch the win. The pinch hitter belted a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Highlanders ahead, 1-0. It was his only hit, but it was huge.

"We're stringing together some nice wins," said Asheville manager Pancho Campos.

Asheville has now won 5 games in a row.
