Lake Murray Gets 3-1 Win
|
In a low-scoring contest, Lake Murray pitcher Etienne de Ruijter was marvelous, enabling his team to nab a 3-1 win. The victory puts Lake Murray at 7-15.
The MotorBoaters got a big at-bat from second baseman Nick Chamberlain. For the game, Chamberlain went 1-3 with a triple. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the fifth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring triple. His 1st triple of the season gave Lake Murray a 2-1 lead.
"There's never a lack of effort in our clubhouse. We're willing to do the little things to get the win," Chamberlain told the Lake Murray Observer.
