Generals Win at Mancelona, 7-0
|
Riding the 3-hit performance of the 21-year old center fielder Brian Ellison, the Washington Generals stopped the Mancelona Torch, 7-0. Luis Colón came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3.2 innings. His record now stands at 1-0. Washington goes to 3-1 with the win.
Kazuki Kodama had a key at-bat with one out in the top of the first for Washington. With the bases loaded and the Generals leading 1-0, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Ellison.
