The Barton Springs Blues needed 11 innings to defeat the Gwinnett Guinea Pigs, 9-8, at Blues Field. Barton Springs catcher Jonathan Davis had a superb performance. He was 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. The setback makes Gwinnett 11-11.

The game came to a dramatic end in the bottom of the 11th. With Barton Springs trailing 8-5, Chris Knight hit a fastball from Max Patrick for a grand slam home run. It was the knockout punch the Blues needed.

"What a game," said Knight. "We needed every last run."
