Late Offense Lifts Toledo to 3-2 Victory
The Toledo Saboteurs, despite a fine performance by Gulf Coast pitcher Guy Fontaine, grabbed a 3-2 win at Mobile Home Park. Fontaine allowed 2 runs over 7.1 innings. Adam Smith picked up his 3rd save of the season. The Saboteurs now have a record of 11-11 with the win over Gulf Coast.

Toledo went in front, 3-2, on Mike Newman's 6th home run of the season. The solo home run, which Newman hit in the top of the eighth, left Gulf Coast pitcher John Harris visibly perturbed.

"You have to win 1-0, 3-2, 2-1 games if you want to get to where you want to go," said Saboteurs manager Rodney Dudley.
