Polar Bears Prevail, 3-2, Over Marquette
|
César Ramos was locked in. The right-hander led the Billings Polar Bears to a 3-2 win against the Marquette Miners at The Igloo. Goris Braams snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits over 2.1 innings. He's now 1-1 on the season. Billings is now 8-16.
In the bottom of the sixth, Billings catcher Feng-linag Ling put his team on top. With no one out and a runner on 1st, he hit his 6th home run of the year. Marquette pitcher Bo Taylor served it up. Just like that, the Polar Bears were ahead, 3-2.
"There are no moral victories," said losing manager Andrés Pérez.
