Polar Bears Lose, 3-1, at Toledo Backyard Park

The Toledo Saboteurs, behind a great outing from Steve Stewart, who is tied for 9th in the SAA in innings pitched with 35.0, defeated the Billings Polar Bears, 3-1, at Toledo Backyard Park. Tom Womack recorded the save, his 1st. At 11-15, Toledo is in 9th place in the Silver AA.
In the bottom of the fourth, Toledo shortstop David Sterling had a productive at-bat. With a runner on 2nd and two out, Sterling stroked a run-scoring single to center. It made the score 1-0, Toledo. For the game, he was 1 for 2, while adding 2 RBI.
"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Sterling.
