Baby Thunder Dome was the site for USSL Double A action featuring the St. Petersburg Thunder and Barton Springs Blues.

Danny Carey had a big hand in the 13-2 Barton Springs triumph over St. Petersburg. He rattled off 3 hits in 5 at-bats, scoring 3 times and knocking in 2 runs. Greg Berry, who is tied for 7th in the SAA in strikeouts with 34, was the winner. He's now 2-2. The loser was Hal Gaines.

The game turned with no one out in the top of the fourth when Carey hit a run-scoring single. It thrust the Blues into the lead, 1-0.

St. Petersburg manager Alejandro Mingo called the blowout loss "not my idea of a good time."

The Blues are now 11-16.
