The Billings Polar Bears topped the Northville Eclipse, 5-2, in USSL Double A action at Old-Timers Park. The standout performance belonged to Billings pitcher and Brooklyn, New York, native Wayne Horne. Horne, now 4-0, was the winner. In 5.2 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 5, walking 2, and allowing 1 run. Carlos Ramos closed the game out for Billings, earning his 1st save.

Billings used the hitting of Ramil Laygo to pick up the win. The shortstop clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Polar Bears on top, 3-1. For the game, Laygo had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

Billings is now 18-9. Northville is 12-15.
